主講人簡介：
David Nabarro博士在國際公共衛(wèi)生領(lǐng)域有四十多年的從業(yè)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。其職業(yè)經(jīng)歷包括社區(qū)全科醫(yī)生、醫(yī)學(xué)教育者、國際公務(wù)員、執(zhí)行官和外交官。
在過去的12年中，David Nabarro博士被歷屆聯(lián)合國秘書長任命，負(fù)責(zé)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)應(yīng)對最復(fù)雜、最緊迫的衛(wèi)生挑戰(zhàn)的國際聯(lián)合行動(dòng)，包括應(yīng)對大范圍流行的禽流感、促進(jìn)糧食安全、消除營養(yǎng)不良、抗擊埃博拉疫情等，并推動(dòng)聯(lián)合國2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程以及氣候變化所帶來的新議題。
2016年1月，David Nabarro博士被任命為聯(lián)合國秘書長的特別顧問，負(fù)責(zé)2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展和氣候變化議程。
David Nabarro博士是英國政府提名的下一任世界衛(wèi)生組織總干事候選人。他將會(huì)為全球所有致力于維護(hù)健康的工作者爭取更好權(quán)益，無論其是在家庭、社區(qū)、工作場所還是醫(yī)療服務(wù)場所和機(jī)構(gòu)。
About the Speake:
Dr. Nabarro has over 40 years of experience in international public health as a community-based practitioner, educator, public servant, director and diplomat.
In the past 12 years, successive Secretaries-General of the United Nations have entrusted David to lead collective action on some of the most pressing and complex challenges – responding to avian and pandemic influenza, promoting food security, ending malnutrition, combating Ebola, promoting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and advancing efforts relating to climate change. Since January 2016, he has been the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Climate Change.
Dr. Nabarro is the UK’s candidate to be the next Director-General of the World Health Organization. Dr. Nabarro will champion the interests of all who work to sustain people’s health everywhere – including within households, communities, work-places, health care facilities and institutions.
