4月28日上午，清華大學(xué)公共管理學(xué)院10位國際項目學(xué)生前往中關(guān)村國際創(chuàng)新中心參加由科學(xué)技術(shù)部、北京市人民政府主辦，北京市科學(xué)技術(shù)研究院等單位承辦的2024中關(guān)村論壇年會“全球科技創(chuàng)新高端智庫論壇”。本次活動由國際合作交流辦副主任史姝婷帶隊，國際項目主管劉航組織實施。

本年度中關(guān)村論壇主題為“創(chuàng)新：建設(shè)更加美好的世界”。通過搭建高水平、國際化的交流平臺，共同研討人類社會發(fā)展面臨的問題與困境，論壇致力為科技支撐構(gòu)建人類命運共同體發(fā)出智庫之聲，推動未來產(chǎn)業(yè)對經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展全局的重大引領(lǐng)作用。

The ZGC Global High Level Think Tank Forum for Science and Technology Innovation 2024 brought together leading figures and researchers to share their valuable keynote speeches. As a public administration in international development and governance student, I found the emphasis on collaboration between researchers and policymakers particularly inspiring. This collaborative approach is essential for developing sustainable policies that leverage science and technology for the benefit of humanity. The forum was a valuable experience for me which I can obtain the highlight of collaboration research in shaping a sustainable future through science and technology.

I’m grateful and honored to be one of attendees of the ZGC 2024 Global High Level Think Tank for Science and Technology Innovation Conference, where not only experts but also people with wisdom and knowledge shared their visions for the future on Science and Technology. The conference sheds light on the impact of science and technology innovation on our lives such as climate change and ethics of dealing with technological innovations such as AI. The important of collaboration among nations, scientists, researchers, and policymakers was also highlighted in the conference.

There is need for more collaborations in the form of more forums between other nations and China among publishers and researchers. Mr Wu Jianmin the President of Beijing Academy of Science and Technology spoke on the new innovative model in Open Science. He reiterated the 5 areas for improvement which are: a)Accelerating sharing of knowledge and technology. b)Inclusiveness. c)High efficiency. d)Attraction of ZGC in and outside China. e)Collaboration.
